Recently in the world of science, a lady became the proud owner of:
1. Five puppies...
2. ...cloned from a dead pit bull...
3. named Booger.
Am I the only one with serious moral issues about this?? Forget about the ethical and moral questions surrounding commercial cloning.? This country euthanizes thousands of unwanted dogs and cats per week, and someone gets her dead dog *cloned?*? Am I the only person who finds this appalling?? And cloning a pit bull?? Simply brilliant.? Because if we're going to clone dogs, the first breed that comes to mind is the most deadly breed in terms of human fatalities in the U.S.? Why not clone some Rottweilers while we're at it??
And of course this lady is absolutely convinced she got her Booger back.? I only hope the $50,000 was worth it for her, considering it could have paid for the upkeep of thousands of unwanted pets.? But hey, it's not my money.
