Yep. That about sums up last night's Cubs game. There was a do-or-die contest for a prize, struggle, anguish, and a strong sudden display followed by intense pain.
Intense, aching, scream-at-the-TV-in-horror pain.
And as if the story couldn’t get any worse, the Sun-Times is now alleging that the witless wonder who got in Moises Alou’s way already had a ball from earlier in the game. One that Alou tossed into the stands.
Let me repeat that. He already had one. He was just being greedy.
Say it with me. AAAAAUGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!
If this proves to be true, I hope they never let him into Wrigley Field again. Ever. There is no worse punishment for a Cubs fan. Although last night comes close.
Uh, okay, I'll bite:
Isn't being a Cubs fan punishment enough?
